ProMinent supports Anpfiff ins Leben e.V.
"Who will, if we don't?" In keeping with this principle, leading companies from the Rhine-Neckar region have joined forces with Anpfiff ins Leben e.V. to launch the "Aufstiegshelfer-Initiative", the only one of its kind in Germany.
Anpfiff ins Leben e.V. has set itself the task of helping sporty children and young people gain the best possible prospects for their private and working lives. More than 3200 protégés are currently signed up to the integral programme and receiving help on issues relating to education, training and their personal lives as well as sports.
Career planning is a key element of the Aufstiegshelfer-Initiative
When young people first start to think about careers, the "Aufstiegshelfer-Initiative" aims to show them what is actually available and provide insight into real companies. This is intended to simplify the transition from school to workplace, give them courage and boost their own initiative.
Doing his bit for the "Aufstiegshelfer-Initiative", Ralf Kiermaier, Director of ProMinent Deutschland GmbH, is helping Maximilian Kern, a young footballer from FC-Astoria Walldorf, take his first step on the career ladder.
At the end of April 2014, Ralf Kiermaier welcomed Maximilian to ProMinent in Heidelberg-Wieblingen and gave him a personal tour of the company. In autumn 2014, Maximilian will complete a placement at ProMinent, another aspect of the "Aufstiegshelfer-Initiative" concept. Ralf Kiermaier will be his mentor and point of contact.
"The support provided by "Anpfiff ins Leben" offers a great mix. I can see this when I go to visit my protégé Maxi at the sports ground! The kids display commitment and a desire to succeed, but also fairness and respect. I can only encourage other companies to get involved," says Ralf Kiermaier of the Aufstiegshelfer-Initiative.
