The modular BAMa is installed in the bypass of the main process line.

The water to be measured reaches the BAMa through the bypass line and flows through the various sensor modules. The measuring water can be discharged from the sensor modules into the wastewateror, if the regulations as well as the specifications of the BAMA and the installed components allow it, be fed back into the process.

    Technical Details

    The BAMa bypass fitting includes ball valves, acting as a shut-off at the inlet side and for the manual adjustment of the flow at the outlet side. Besides its sensor modules, the BAMa also includes a sensor module for flow monitoring: with a float flow meter for clean water, a thermal flow sensor for water containing solids, and a sample valve.

    A particle filter, as well as a flow limiter, an earthing and potential equalisation set, as well as a metering module for the metering of chemicals for sample water treatment can optionally be fitted.
