Metering System PolyRex

Capacity range up to 10,200 l/h

The metering system PolyRex is a double-decker batching station for the processing of liquid and powdered polymers. It consists of the feed and mixer unit and the two stainless steel double-decker tanks. The polymers used are ideally utilised.

Product description

PolyRex can do more: Processes liquid and powdered polymers.

The upper tank is the preparation/maturation tank. The lower container serves as a supply tank for the prepared polymer solution.

User-friendly powder handling with the aid of a vacuum conveyor.

Three-stage wetting for warranty of complete polymer maturation: pre-wetting in the wetting cone, high-energy mixing in the ejector and gentle mixing in the preparation tank to preserve the polymer chains.

After complete maturation, the solution is transferred to the supply tank via the motorized valve.

    Technical Details

    • Vacuum conveyor for filling from small powder bags
    • Powder hopper with sight glass
    • Powder shortage probe for detecting an empty add-on hopper
    • Butterfly valve on the metering unit to prevent the ingress of moisture
    • Stainless steel wetting cone for dissolving the powder
    • Heating elements at the input of the wetting cone
    • Water apparatus with wetting cone and elector to produce an effective and homogeneous polymer solution from powder polymers
    • Stainless steel tanks for maturing and storing the polymer solution in a slightly offset double-decker arrangement for PolyRex 0.6-8.4, with tanks placed next to each other for PolyRex Maxi 11 - 23
    • Air-controlled motorized valve for transferring the solution to the storage tank
    • Slow-running stirrer in the upper tank for gentle mixing of the polymer solution
