Peristaltic Metering Pumps

What they do

Peristaltic metering pumps are used in a capacity range of between 10 ml/h and 410 l/h. They pump against a pressure of up to 8 bar. The incredible durability and wide range of chemical compatibility of the high-performance hoses used by ProMinent are particularly impressive.

How they work

The hose in contact with the housing is disconnected by rollers sitting on a rotor. The rotary movement of the rotor moves the disconnected point in the desired pumping direction and the medium is pumped. Once the roller has pressed the medium through the hose in the dosing head, the hose is relieved again. The hose lines up again, produces negative pressure and fresh medium is drawn into the hose.

The feed rate can be increased in a linear fashion by increasing the rotor speed.

Where they are used

  • Wastewater treatment: Metering high-viscosity media / polymer solutions
  • Potable water treatment: Metering of disinfectants
  • Foodstuffs industry: shear-sensitive media, aromas, additives
  • Paper industry: Metering of additives
  • Cooling circuits: Metering of corrosion inhibitors and biocides
  • Plastics production: Metering of additives
  • General: Chemical metering up to 410 l/h

What is unique about them

Our DULCOFLEX peristaltic metering pumps ideally combine the benefits of peristaltic pumps and metering pumps. They therefore support batch or proportional flow dosing, for example. Depending on the medium, they meter with a precision of up to ±1 %. They can be networked with our fluid management platform using DULCONNEX, making remote monitoring possible. They are just as reliable as our other metering pumps, are self-priming and can handle outgassing media with ease. Thanks to the ingenious hose replacement processes, this task is completed in no time and requires very little material.

Pump Guide

The choice of pumps is huge: 80 industries, 100,000 products and infinite applications. To make it easy to find your ideal metering pump, ProMinent designed the Pump Guide. In just a few clicks you will find a selection of suitable models.

Here’s how it works

First enter the pump capacity and back pressure. The Pump Guide will then show you all the metering pumps that match your criteria. You can choose between list view and detail view. The database contains all solenoid metering pumps, motor-driven metering pumps, process metering pumps and peristaltic pumps from ProMinent. They are divided into more than 30 different product ranges.

Exactly the right pump

Narrow down your search by clicking on different selection criteria. Do you have a specific industry, operating mode, medium or viscosity in mind? Or maybe you need a pump for zones at risk of explosion? The Pump Guide will take you to the pump you need in just a few clicks.
