Making sure everything runs smoothly

We individually manufacture each of our metering pumps and systems, drawing on the wealth of experience we have gained over the decades. This is what makes ProMinent products so efficient. No matter whether our systems are used in isolation or locally, for complex or explosion-proof tasks, they all offer process reliability tested to European and international standards.

ProMinent metering applications keep the oil and gas flowing because they reliably prevent corrosion and deposits in the pipes or improve the flow characteristics of the oil. Their priceless assistance is very much in demand. ProMinent metering pumps feed chemicals such as inhibitors, additives and catalysts wherever they are needed – keeping them strictly separated at all times. One pump can drive several pump heads and meter various chemicals or one and the same feed chemical to various points in the process. After all, production safety is essential.

Tests prove efficiency

The environmental compatibility and production safety of our pumps is very important to us. So we test them thoroughly: in Heidelberg ProMinent undertakes extensive performance and pressure tests on its process metering pumps, including API 675 testing. All parameters are monitored, analysed and documented. But our work starts well in advance of production: we document the quotations and plans with great care and produce extensive computer-assisted calculations and designs. We also make it easy for our customers to use our pumps: they are simple to operate and incorporate into standard process control systems.

Wind, water or wilderness? We're there for you!

Inhospitable surroundings? Tough climate? This is where our robust products get to show what they are made of. Designed to be tough and virtually wear-free, they meter and transport flammable, toxic, highly viscous fluids or those laden with solids, even at very high pressure levels (up to 3,000 bar). All components can be used both onshore and offshore. This makes them so versatile they are suitable for everything from the oil fields of Kuwait and Kazakhstan to floating drilling platforms off the Norwegian coast. ProMinent metering systems are manufactured in line with international standards (MD, PED, API, ASME, Atex or NEC) and installed and maintained at your premises. With branches in more than 100 countries, there will always be a ProMinent service partner close by.

The ORLITA Evolution meets the most exacting safety requirements as an extremely robust hydraulic diaphragm metering pump. It is characterised by its PTFE multi-layer diaphragm with integral diaphragm rupture warning/signalling and unique diaphragm position control.

The ORLITA Evolution mikro is an innovative micro-metering pump for high pressures. Capacity range 2 – 76 l/h, 320 – 12 bar

The plunger metering pump Sigma SBKa is an extremely robust plunger metering pump with high-performance plunger and the option to adjust the pump capacity in 0.2% increments. It offers a wide range of power end versions, such as three-phase or 1-phase AC motors, even for Exe and Exde areas with ATEX certification.

The high-performance plunger metering pump ORLITA PS enables precise pump capacities even at maximum pressure and temperatures of up to +400 °C. The ORLITA PS pump has a modular construction and is therefore very flexible.

Plunger Metering Pump ORLITA DR

Capacity range of single-head pump: 0 – 2000 l/h, 400 – 5 bar

The plunger metering pump ORLITA DR does not need valves and can therefore be operated within a broad stroke rate range. It is therefore suitable for use with high-viscosity and extremely high-viscosity media of up to 10⁶ mPas within a wide temperature range of -40 °C to 400 °C.

The HYDRO API 675 is an extremely robust hydraulic diaphragm metering pump, which meets the most exacting safety requirements and is designed in accordance with API 675. This is ensured by the PTFE multi-layer diaphragm with diaphragm monitoring, the full-motion drive and automatic bleeding, for example. Its modular construction makes it extremely versatile.
